Applications Invited - Teams Funded

The OSL are now inviting applications from new or already established teams to play in the Oldham Sunday League.

The league will be funding teams as we continue to keep football in Oldham alive and kicking into our 51st year!

Teams interested in playing in the League for season 2018/19 should contact either Val or Steve for more details.

Small Sided Football

The OSL is looking at the possibility of expanding its league into the small sided (7v7) format of the game.

This would run along side our 11 aside open age Sunday League

The small sided idea is to attract teams who are unable to field larger squads into the OSL

To appeal to players unable to commit to 2-3 hours on a Sunday for regular 11 aside football and excess travelling.

With one central venue we hope to be able to offer hugely subsidised games for players in and around the Oldham area.

A 7 v 7 game involving 2 x 28min halves in a 56 minute game of football guaranteed every week.
